North Carolina High School Basketball - Goldsboro overwhelmed by Beddingfield

The Goldsboro Cougars basketball team (Goldsboro, NC), was overwhelmed 59-32 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Beddingfield Bruins (Wilson, NC)

The Bruins now possess a 22-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eastern Wayne for a 2A Conference 8 battle on Friday, February 17. Beddingfield will battle a Warriors team coming off a 34-32 non-league win over North Johnston (Kenly, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 18-6.

The Cougars (7-15) will now prepare for their battle against North Johnston (Kenly, NC). The Panthers come into the 2A Conference 8 battle with a 19-6 record. In their last battle, North Johnston was overwhelmed by Eastern Wayne (Goldsboro, NC), 34-32, in a non-league battle.
