The Brooklyn Hurricanes topped the visiting Independence Blue Devils basketball team by a final score of 49-37 in Wednesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Hurricanes face the Keystone Wildcats (La Grange, OH) in a non-league game, on Saturday, February 18. Brooklyn will attempt to move on its 15-7 season record. The Wildcats enter the game with a 19-3 record after their 37-19 non-league loss to Buckeye Central (New Washington, OH).
With the defeat, Independence moves to 11-11 on the year.
