Taylor County Vikings (Butler, GA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Chattahoochee County Panthers (Cusseta, GA), 61-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Taylor County upgrades its record to 23-1 on the campaign. The Vikings host Macon County (Montezuma, GA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, February 17. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 20-7. Macon County won 51-35 in their recent non-league bout against Schley County (Ellaville, GA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Schley County Wildcats (Ellaville, GA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 17. Chattahoochee County will attempt to upgrade on its 17-11 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 17-6 record after their 51-35 non-league loss to Macon County (Montezuma, GA).
