Hill-Murray Pioneers (Maplewood, MN) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Simley Spartans (Inver Grove Heights, MN), 52-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hill-Murray upgrades its record to 11-12 on the season. The Pioneers travel to North (North St. Paul, MN) to clash with the Polars in a AAA Section 4 bout on Friday, February 17. The Polars go into the bout with a record of 17-5. North lost 68-65 in their recent non-league bout against Two Rivers (Mendota Heights, MN)

Next up, the Spartans clash with the Mahtomedi Zephyrs (Mahtomedi, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 21. Simley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-21 season record.
