The Kingsley Stags basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Suttons Bay Norsemen to 9 in the Stags league triumph on Wednesday.
The Stags now sport a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Onekama for a Northwest contest on Friday, February 17. Kingsley will battle a Portagers team coming off a 65-44 non-league loss to St. Mary (Lake Leelanau, MI). The Portagers record now stands at 5-14.
The Norsemen (3-14) will now prepare for their contest against Buckley (Buckley, MI). The Bears enter the Northwest contest with a 8-11 record. In their last contest, Buckley triumphed over Forest Area (Fife Lake, MI), 47-33, in a non-league contest.
