North Carolina High School Basketball - Starmount fells Mount Airy

February 15, 2023: Boonville, NC 27011

Starmount Rams (Boonville, NC) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Mount Airy Granite Bears (Mount Airy, NC), 55-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Starmount upgrades its record to 14-11 on the season. The Rams travel to East Wilkes (Ronda, NC) to clash with the Cardinals in a 1A Conference 36 bout on Friday, February 17. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 19-4. East Wilkes won 54-47 in their recent non-league bout against North Stokes (Danbury, NC)
