In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Pope John Paul II Jaguars (Slidell, LA) softball team overwhelmed the host St. Scholastica Doves (Covington, LA), by a margin of 14-3.
With the triumph, Pope John Paul II moves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Sumner (Kentwood, LA) to play the Cowboys in a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 28. The Cowboys come into the contest with a record of 1-1.
In their next game, the Doves play the St. Michael Warriors (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, March 11. St. Scholastica will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
