New York High School Basketball - AuSable Valley overwhelmed by Moriah

February 15, 2024: Clintonville, NY 12924

The Moriah Vikings basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host AuSable Valley Patriots to 25 in the Vikings league victory on Thursday.

The Vikings now sport a 16-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Beekmantown for a non-league contest on Friday, February 16. Moriah will battle a Eagles team coming off a 51-47 league win over Northeastern Clinton (Champlain, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 13-4.

The Patriots (2-17) will now prepare for their contest against Northern Adirondack (Ellenburg Depot, NY). The Bobcats come into the Section 7 Champlain Valley II contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Northern Adirondack was routed by Saranac Lake (Saranac Lake, NY), 60-45, in a league contest.
