Dollar Bay Bays (Dollar Bay, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Baraga Vikings (Baraga, MI), 53-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Dollar Bay upgrades its record to 9-12 on the season. The Bays travel to Lake Linden-Hubbell (Lake Linden, MI) to play the Lakes in a Copper Mountain - Copper County bout on Tuesday, February 20. The Lakes go into the bout with a record of 16-3. Lake Linden-Hubbell won 58-50 in their recent non-league bout against Stephenson (Stephenson, MI)

Next up, the Vikings play the Chassell Panthers (Chassell, MI) in a Freelance bout, on Monday, February 19. Baraga will attempt to upgrade on its 9-11 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 12-6 record after their 75-39 league loss to Jeffers (Painesdale, MI).
