The Pewamo-Westphalia Pirates basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the host Bath Fighting Bees to 38 in the Pirates league victory on Thursday.

The Pirates now sport a 17-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Meridian for a non-league contest on Friday, February 16. Pewamo-Westphalia will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 64-26 league win over Harrison (Harrison, MI). The Mustangs record now stands at 16-3.

The Fighting Bees (4-16) will now prepare for their contest against Laingsburg (Laingsburg, MI). The Wolfpack come into the Central Michigan contest with a 20-0 record. In their last contest, Laingsburg triumphed over Dansville (Dansville, MI), 80-47, in a league contest.
