The Bettye Davis East Anchorage Thunderbirds (Anchorage, AK) basketball crushed the visiting Soldotna Stars (Soldotna, AK), 80-41 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Thunderbirds (18-1) will now prepare for their test against South Anchorage (Anchorage, AK). The Wolverines go into the 4A Cook Inlet test with a 8-11 record. In their last test, South Anchorage was trounced by Service (Anchorage, AK), 57-30, in a league test.

The Stars now own a 9-10 record. They play next when they travel to Mountain City Christian Academy for a 4A Northern Lights test on Friday, February 16. Soldotna will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 70-48 league loss to Palmer (Palmer, AK). The Lions record now stands at 6-12.
