The Bishop Hendricken Hawks (Warwick, RI) basketball knocked off the host Portsmouth Patriots (Portsmouth, RI), 68-48 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Hawks (16-6) will now prepare for their test against Narragansett (Narragansett, RI). The Mariners go into the Division 1 test with a 9-11 record. In their last test, Narragansett went down by La Salle Academy (Providence, RI), 69-44, in a league test.

The Patriots now own a 13-9 record. They play next when they travel to Cranston East for a Division 1 test on Friday, February 16. Portsmouth will encounter a Thunderbolts squad coming off a 63-33 non-league win over La Salle Academy (Providence, RI). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 5-17.
