Brownsboro Bears (Brownsboro, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Lindale Eagles (Lindale, TX), 51-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Brownsboro upgrades its record to 15-18 on the season. The Bears travel to Van (Van, TX) to clash with the Vandals in a 4A Region II District 16 bout on Friday, February 16. The Vandals go into the bout with a record of 12-23. Van won 64-47 in their recent non-league bout against Cumberland Academy (Tyler, TX)
