The Caldwell County Tigers basketball team (Princeton, KY), was nudged 57-50 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Mayfield Cardinals (Mayfield, KY)
The Cardinals now possess a 15-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Livingston Central for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 20. Mayfield will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 100-63 non-league loss to Hopkins County Central (Madisonville, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 9-17.
The Tigers (15-10) will now prepare for their battle against Webster County (Dixon, KY). The Trojans come into the non-league battle with a 13-12 record. In their last battle, Webster County edged Crittenden County (Marion, KY), 67-40, in a non-league battle.
