Richmond Spartans (Richmond, MO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Carrollton Trojans (Carrollton, MO), 72-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Richmond upgrades its record to 15-8 on the season. The Spartans travel to Lafayette (St. Joseph, MO) to clash with the Fighting Irish in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 20. The Fighting Irish go into the bout with a record of 7-12. Lafayette won 60-58 in their recent league bout against St. Pius X (Kansas City, MO)

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Marceline Tigers (Marceline, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 20. Carrollton will attempt to upgrade on its 8-15 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 0-17 record after their 71-54 league loss to Knox County (Edina, MO).
