Centerpoint Knights (Amity, AR) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Jessieville Lions (Jessieville, AR), 49-45 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Centerpoint upgrades its record to 19-9 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Harmony Grove (Benton, AR) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 17. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 26-2. Harmony Grove won 63-35 in their recent non-league bout against Genoa Central (Texarkana, AR)

Next up, the Lions play the McGehee Owls (McGehee, AR) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 22. Jessieville will attempt to upgrade on its 22-6 season record. The Owls come into the bout with a 23-5 record after their 67-46 non-league loss to Dumas (Dumas, AR).
