The Fairfield Eagles basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Chinook Beeters to 55 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Eagles now sport a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shelby for a non-league contest on Friday, February 16. Fairfield will battle a Coyotes team coming off a 61-39 non-league win over Conrad (Conrad, MT). The Coyotes record now stands at 14-4.
The Beeters (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Conrad (Conrad, MT). The Cowboys enter the non-league contest with a 2-13 record. In their last contest, Conrad was defeated by Shelby (Shelby, MT), 61-39, in a non-league contest.
