In Thursday's non-league outing, the Johnson Governors (St. Paul, MN) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Como Park Cougars (St. Paul, MN), by a margin of 88-40.

The Governors (16-3) will now prepare for their outing against St. Anthony Village (Minneapolis, MN). The Huskies go into the AAA Section 4 outing with a 11-12 record. In their last outing, St. Anthony Village was trounced by Robbinsdale Cooper (New Hope, MN), 69-53, in a non-league outing.

The Cougars now own a 9-15 record. They play next when they host Harding for a AAA Section 3 outing on Wednesday, February 21. Como Park will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 82-81 league win over Highland Park (St. Paul, MN). The Knights record now stands at 18-5.
