New Mexico High School Basketball - Sandia Prep winner over Cottonwood Classical Prep

In Thursday's league outing, the Sandia Prep Sundevils (Albuquerque, NM) basketball squad felled the visiting Cottonwood Classical Prep Coyotes (Albuquerque, NM), by a margin of 55-41.

The Sundevils (7-16) will now prepare for their outing against Cuba (Cuba, NM). The Rams go into the 3A District 5 outing with a 6-16 record. In their last outing, Cuba was beaten by Bosque (Albuquerque, NM), 65-37, in a league outing.

The Coyotes now own a 8-16 record. They play next when they travel to East Mountain for a 3A District 5 outing on Tuesday, February 20. Cottonwood Classical Prep will encounter a Timberwolves squad coming off a 59-38 non-league loss to Santa Fe Prep (Santa Fe, NM). The Timberwolves record now stands at 5-16.
