With the win, Eau Claire Memorial upgrades its record to 17-6 on the season. The Old Abes travel to Chippewa Falls (Chippewa Falls, WI) to clash with the Cardinals in a Big Rivers bout on Thursday, February 22. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 3-20.

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the La Crosse Central Riverhawks (La Crosse, WI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 16. Menomonie will attempt to upgrade on its 7-16 season record. The Riverhawks go into the bout with a 11-10 record after their 77-52 league win over Sparta (Sparta, WI).
