The Fairfax Lions tipped the host West Potomac Wolverines basketball team by a final score of 38-35 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Lions face the Lake Braddock Bruins (Burke, VA) in a District 4 game, on Friday, February 16. Fairfax will attempt to move on its 17-7 season record. The Bruins enter the game with a 3-20 record after their 58-50 league loss to West Springfield (Springfield, VA).

With the defeat, West Potomac moves to 17-7 on the year.
