California High School Basketball - Mission College Prep tops Independence

Mission College Prep Royals (San Luis Obispo, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Independence Falcons (Bakersfield, CA), 62-51 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Mission College Prep upgrades its record to 11-17 on the campaign. The Royals host Hoover (Fresno, CA) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 20. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 20-10. Hoover won 66-57 in their recent non-league bout against Roosevelt (Fresno, CA)

This game is a part of the 2024 CIF Central Section Boys Basketball Championships - Division II tournament
