The North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland] Bearcats basketball team scored 75 points and held the visiting Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg Patriots to 67 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Bearcats now sport a 9-1 record.
The Patriots (5-13) will now prepare for their contest against North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland/Munich/Starkweather] (Cando, ND). The Bearcats enter the non-league contest with a 13-1 record. In their last contest, North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland/Munich/Starkweather] ran past North Border co-op [Walhalla/Pembina] (Walhalla, ND), 74-61, in a non-league contest.
