New Mexico High School Basketball - McCurdy winner over Penasco

February 15, 2024: Espanola, NM 87532

In Thursday's league outing, the McCurdy Bobcats (Espanola, NM) basketball squad felled the visiting Penasco Panthers (Penasco, NM), by a margin of 68-60.

The Bobcats (13-10) will now prepare for their outing against Mora (Mora, NM). The Rangers/Rangerettes go into the 2A District 5 outing with a 11-11 record. In their last outing, Mora thwarted Questa (Questa, NM), 64-25, in a league outing.

The Panthers now own a 6-16 record. They play next when they travel to Escalante for a 2A District 5 outing on Saturday, February 17. Penasco will clash with a Lobos squad coming off a 46-43 league win over Mesa Vista (Ojo Caliente, NM). The Lobos record now stands at 15-7.
