The Meeker Cowboys topped the host Aspen Skiers basketball team by a final score of 44-30 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Cowboys face the North Fork Miners (Hotchkiss, CO) in a 3A Western Slope game, on Saturday, February 17. Meeker will attempt to move on its 9-9 season record. The Miners enter the game with a 5-13 record after their 50-20 league loss to Cedaredge (Cedaredge, CO).

With the defeat, Aspen moves to 1-17 on the year.
