Blue Mountain Bucks (Wells River, VT) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Danville Bears (Danville, VT), 54-27 in a league bout.

With the win, Blue Mountain upgrades its record to 9-8 on the season. The Bucks host Williamstown (Williamstown, VT) to play the Blue Devils in a Capital bout on Monday, February 19. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 14-2. Williamstown won 50-26 in their recent non-league bout against Northfield (Northfield, VT)

Next up, the Bears play the Winooski Spartans (Winooski, VT) in a Mountain bout, on Saturday, February 17. Danville will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 6-10 record after their 55-43 league loss to Richford (Richford, VT).
