Bogota Buccaneers (Bogota, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Midland Park Panthers (Midland Park, NJ), 51-29 in a league bout.

With the win, Bogota upgrades its record to 8-14 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to Hasbrouck Heights (Hasbrouck Heights, NJ) to play the Aviators in a Freelance bout on Friday, February 16. The Aviators go into the bout with a record of 15-7. Hasbrouck Heights won 47-44 in their recent non-league bout against Tenafly (Tenafly, NJ)

Next up, the Panthers play the Waldwick Warriors (Waldwick, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 22. Midland Park will attempt to upgrade on its 8-14 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 13-11 record after their 50-22 non-league win over Butler (Butler, NJ).
