The Cape May County Tech Hawks (Cape May Court House, NJ) basketball nipped the visiting Buena Chiefs (Buena, NJ), 33-30 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Hawks (10-16) will now prepare for their test against Holy Spirit (Absecon, NJ). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 16-9 record. In their last test, Holy Spirit was tipped by Wildwood Catholic (North Wildwood, NJ), 73-44, in a league test.
The Chiefs now own a 7-14 record. They play next when they host Lindenwold for a non-league test on Thursday, February 15. Buena will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 54-40 non-league win over Overbrook (Pine Hill, NJ). The Lions record now stands at 7-12.
