The Mt. Mansfield Cougars basketball team (Jericho, VT), was nudged 60-59 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Burlington Seahorses (Burlington, VT)
The Seahorses now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Johnsbury Academy for a Metro battle on Monday, February 19. Burlington will battle a Hilltoppers team coming off a 71-36 league win over Bellows Free Academy (St. Albans, VT). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 16-2.
The Cougars (9-7) will now prepare for their battle against Rice Memorial (South Burlington, VT). The Green Knights come into the Metro battle with a 1-16 record. In their last battle, Rice Memorial was nudged by South Burlington (South Burlington, VT), 29-27, in a non-league battle.
