Vermont High School Basketball - Milton overwhelmed by Colchester

The Colchester Lakers basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the visiting Milton Yellowjackets to 24 in the Lakers league victory on Thursday.
The Lakers now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lamoille for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 17. Colchester will battle a Lancers team coming off a 64-29 league win over Montpelier (Montpelier, VT). The Lancers record now stands at 13-4.
The Yellowjackets (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Abraham (Bristol, VT). The Eagles come into the Lake contest with a 12-7 record. In their last contest, Mt. Abraham triumphed over Middlebury (Middlebury, VT), 31-29, in a league contest.
