Council Lumberjacks (Council, ID) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Salmon River Savages (Riggins, ID), 71-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Council upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Lumberjacks travel to Kendrick (Kendrick, ID) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 16. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 20-3. Kendrick won 57-24 in their recent non-league bout against Leadore (Leadore, ID)

Next up, the Savages play the Mackay Miners (Mackay, ID) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 16. Salmon River will attempt to upgrade on its 17-7 season record. The Miners go into the bout with a 16-8 record after their 54-43 non-league loss to Deary (Deary, ID).
