Wyoming High School Basketball - Green River can't hold off Evanston

The Evanston Devils basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Green River Wolves to 47 in the Devils league triumph on Thursday.

The Devils now sport a 2-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Star Valley for a 4A Southwest contest on Saturday, February 17. Evanston will battle a Braves team coming off a 50-14 league win over Jackson Hole (Jackson, WY). The Braves record now stands at 9-10.

The Wolves (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against Jackson Hole (Jackson, WY). The Broncs enter the 4A Southwest contest with a 0-14 record. In their last contest, Jackson Hole was nudged by Star Valley (Afton, WY), 50-14, in a league contest.
