The Ewen-Trout Creek Panthers basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Ontonagon Gladiators to 33 in the Panthers league triumph on Thursday.

The Panthers now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Watersmeet for a Copper Mountain contest on Monday, February 19. Ewen-Trout Creek will meet a Nimrods team coming off a 71-10 league loss to Wakefield (Wakefield, MI). The Nimrods record now stands at 0-15.

The Gladiators (5-13) will now prepare for their contest against Houghton (Houghton, MI). The Gremlins enter the non-league contest with a 14-6 record. In their last contest, Houghton was routed by Hancock (Hancock, MI), 38-32, in a league contest.
