Weequahic Indians (Newark, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Golda Och Academy (West Orange, NJ), 2-0 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Weequahic upgrades its record to 9-12 on the season. The Indians host West Caldwell Tech (West Caldwell, NJ) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, February 16. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-10. West Caldwell Tech won 28-27 in their recent non-league bout against Orange (Orange, NJ)
