The Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights (Tyler, MN) basketball crushed the host Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda Coyotes (Okabena, MN), 68-36 in Thursday's league test.

The Knights (15-12) will now prepare for their test against Hills-Beaver Creek (Hills, MN). The Patriots go into the A Section 3 test with a 16-10 record. In their last test, Hills-Beaver Creek walloped Mountain Lake/Comfrey (Mountain Lake, MN), 57-38, in a non-league test.

The Coyotes now own a 1-26 record. They play next when they travel to Southwest Minnesota Christian for a A Section 3 test on Monday, February 19. Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 54-52 league win over Westbrook-Walnut Grove (Westbrook, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 24-2.
