Holden Eagles (Holden, MO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Lafayette County Huskers (Higginsville, MO), 40-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Holden upgrades its record to 11-14 on the season. The Eagles host Hogan Prep Charter (Kansas City, MO) to clash with the Rams in a non-league bout on Monday, February 19. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 9-8.

Next up, the Huskers clash with the Trenton Bulldogs (Trenton, MO) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 21. Lafayette County will attempt to upgrade on its 14-13 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 8-12 record after their 70-38 non-league win over Penney (Hamilton, MO).
