In their next game, the Beavers meet the Goodland Cowboys (Goodland, KS) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, February 20. Scott will attempt to move on its 10-9 season record. The Cowboys enter the match with a 16-3 record after their 64-32 non-league win over Ulysses (Ulysses, KS).

With the defeat, Hugoton moves to 6-12 on the year. The Eagles travel to Holcomb (Holcomb, KS) to meet the Longhorns in a non-league match on Friday, February 16. The Longhorns enter the match with a record of 13-5. Holcomb won 57-41 in their recent non-league match against Cimarron (Cimarron, KS)
