Minnesota High School Basketball - Lakes International Language Academy knocked off by Willmar

The Willmar Cardinals basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Lakes International Language Academy to 41 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cardinals now sport a 19-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monticello for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 15. Willmar will battle a Magic team coming off a 67-44 league win over Big Lake (Big Lake, MN). The Magic record now stands at 19-3.
The (24-3) will now prepare for their contest against Math & Science Academy (Woodbury, MN). The Dragons enter the AA Section 4 contest with a 11-12 record. In their last contest, Math & Science Academy was defeated by St. Paul Academy-Summit (St. Paul, MN), 50-18, in a league contest.
