Taylor Griffins (Taylor, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lincoln Park Railsplitters (Lincoln Park, MI), 42-21 in a league bout.

With the win, Taylor upgrades its record to 6-11 on the season. The Griffins travel to Carlson (Gibraltar, MI) to play the Marauders in a Downriver bout on Friday, February 16. The Marauders go into the bout with a record of 10-7. Carlson lost 57-52 in their recent league bout against Woodhaven (Brownstown, MI)

Next up, the Railsplitters play the Woodhaven Warriors (Brownstown, MI) in a Downriver bout, on Tuesday, February 20. Lincoln Park will attempt to upgrade on its 2-12 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 11-5 record after their 57-52 league win over Carlson (Gibraltar, MI).
