Minnesota High School Basketball - Marshall trounces Mesabi East

The Marshall Hilltoppers (Duluth, MN) basketball crushed the host Mesabi East Giants (Aurora, MN), 79-53 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Hilltoppers (16-7) will now prepare for their test against Cass Lake-Bena (Cass Lake, MN). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 18-4 record. In their last test, Cass Lake-Bena walloped Blackduck (Blackduck, MN), 57-22, in a league test.
The Giants now own a 18-9 record. They play next when they travel to Two Harbors for a AA Section 7 test on Tuesday, February 20.
