Georgia High School Basketball - Upson-Lee topped by Mary Persons

The Mary Persons Bulldogs basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the host Upson-Lee Knights to 49 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Thursday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 21-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Peach County for a non-league contest on Friday, February 16. Mary Persons will battle a Trojans team coming off a 76-30 non-league win over Pike County (Zebulon, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 16-6.

The Knights (9-15) will now prepare for their contest against Pike County (Zebulon, GA). The Pirates come into the non-league match with a 9-13 record. In their last match, Pike County was outscored by Peach County (Fort Valley, GA), 76-30, in a non-league match.
