Vermont High School Basketball - Middlebury can't hold off Mt. Abraham

The Mt. Abraham Eagles basketball team scored 31 points and restricted the visiting Middlebury Tigers to 29 in the Eagles league victory on Thursday.
The Eagles now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Milton for a Lake contest on Monday, February 19. Mt. Abraham will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 60-24 league loss to Colchester (Colchester, VT). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 6-12.
The Tigers (6-13) will now prepare for their contest against Enosburg Falls (Enosburg Falls, VT). The Hornets come into the Mountain contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, Enosburg Falls edged Missisquoi Valley (Swanton, VT), 31-25, in a non-league contest.
