Pleasant Hill Roosters/Chicks (Pleasant Hill, MO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Oak Grove Panthers (Oak Grove, MO), 45-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Pleasant Hill upgrades its record to 13-11 on the season. The Roosters/Chicks travel to Harrisonville (Harrisonville, MO) to play the Wildcats in a Missouri River Valley - West bout on Tuesday, February 20. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 8-16. Harrisonville won 58-37 in their recent league bout against Center (Kansas City, MO)

Next up, the Panthers play the Excelsior Springs Tigers (Excelsior Springs, MO) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 21. Oak Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 9-14 season record.
