The Wynford Royals basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Seneca East Tigers to 37 in the Royals league victory on Thursday.
The Royals now sport a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bucyrus for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 22. Wynford will battle a Redmen team coming off a 50-20 league loss to Buckeye Central (New Washington, OH). The Redmen record now stands at 8-14.
The Tigers (7-14) will now prepare for their contest against Danbury (Lakeside, OH). The Lakers come into the non-league contest with a 19-2 record. In their last contest, Danbury prevailed over Gibsonburg (Gibsonburg, OH), 61-59, in a league contest.
