The Springfield Catholic Fighting Irish basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Seneca Indians to 31 in the Fighting Irish league victory on Thursday.
The Fighting Irish now sport a 12-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Forsyth for a non-league contest on Monday, February 19. Springfield Catholic will battle a Panthers team coming off a 68-41 league loss to Clever (Clever, MO). The Panthers record now stands at 12-14.
The Indians (1-17) will now prepare for their contest against Reeds Spring (Reeds Spring, MO). The Wolves come into the Big 8 contest with a 6-20 record. In their last contest, Reeds Spring was routed by Monett (Monett, MO), 53-47, in a league contest.
