Thurston Eagles (Redford, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Garden City Cougars (Garden City, MI), 69-24 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Thurston upgrades its record to 16-4 on the season. The Eagles host Roseville (Roseville, MI) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 20. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 6-3.

Next up, the Cougars play the Huron Chiefs (New Boston, MI) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 21. Garden City will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record.
