The Tift County Blue Devils held off the visiting Cairo Syrupmakers soccer squad by a margin of 1-0 in Thursday's league match.
The Blue Devils now sport a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Crisp County for a match on Monday, February 19.
With the loss, Cairo drops to 1-2 on the season. The Syrupmakers travel to Lee County (Leesburg, GA) to encounter the Trojans in a match on Thursday, February 22. The Trojans come into the match with a record of 0-1.
