The Allen Eagles softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Longview Lobos to 0 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Allen improves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Eagles travel to Melissa (Melissa, TX) to clash with the Cardinals in a non-league game on Friday, February 16. The Cardinals come into the game with a record of 2-0. Melissa won 18-0 in their recent non-league game against Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX)

In their next game, the Lobos clash with the Willis Wildkats (Willis, TX) in a non-league game, on Thursday, February 15. Longview will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Wildkats come into the game with a 0-1 record after their 16-15 league loss to New Caney (New Caney, TX).
