Altamont Knights (Birmingham, AL) fans left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Parker Thundering Herd (Birmingham, AL), 6-0 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Altamont advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Knights travel to Vincent (Vincent, AL) to battle the Yellow Jackets in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 18. The Yellow Jackets come into the match with a record of 0-0.
The Thundering Herd now have a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carver Birmingham for a non-league match on Monday, February 17. Parker will battle a Rams squad coming off a 22-1 non-league win over Tarrant (Birmingham, AL). The Rams record now stands at 2-0.
