The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Big Piney Punchers (Big Piney, WY) and the visiting Wind River Cougars (Pavillion, WY), observed Big Piney's basketball team overwhelm Wind River by a score of 74-34.
The Punchers (11-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Farson-Eden (Farson, WY). The Pronghorns come into the non-league challenge with a 6-10 record. In their last challenge, Farson-Eden was routed by Cokeville (Cokeville, WY), 56-45, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Cougars encounter the Lander Valley Tigers (Lander, WY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 18. Wind River will attempt to improve on its 1-19 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 64-46 league win over Pinedale (Pinedale, WY).
